ForestStudio celebrates its 10-year Anniversary the summer of 2013.
Founded by Bob White and located in downtown Laguna Beach California, the firm is a collaborative residential design studio that specializes in private homes, estates, and ranch properties. A number of the firm’s projects include a wholistic approach to architectural, interior, and landscape design.
ForestStudio’s past and current work over the last 10-years covers the United States…California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Florida, Idaho, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Hawaii. Current projects include a farm in Newport Rhode Island, a ranch in Sun Valley Idaho, a lake house in Austin Texas, a surf shack on the North Shore of Oahu, a ranch in Sonoma, a mountain house in Park City Utah, and various local projects along the California coast in Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and Newport Beach.
Prior to founding the Studio in 2003, Bob was a Principal and Director of Design at Scheurer Architects in Newport Beach California. During his 12-years with the firm, they were considered to be one of the Nation’s leaders in housing and community design. They were proud to have worked with the most highly regarded community developers, home builders, marketing advisors, interior merchandisers, land-planners and Landscape Architects across the United States. Their work spanned from coast to coast, and was recognized consistently in National design award programs honored by their peers for innovative, quality design.

The residential work of ForestStudio has appeared in various books including Michael S. Smith | Houses, House Beautiful | Kitchens, and the magazines: House Beautiful, Riviera, Pelican Hill, and ElleDecor…including the August 2013 issue.
In January of 2013, Bob was recognized by Residential Architect Magazine as a “Fast Forward Honoree” for his “Leadership, Innovation, and Vision”. Fellow honorees included Jonathan Segal, Tom Kundig, Lake | Flato, David Salmela, and others…while enjoying a private reception and terrific dinner at the Penske-Wynn Ferrari Showroom and Museum at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas.
